Chongqing Chuanyi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. is a mixed ownership enterprise mainly established by China Silian Instrument Group Co., Ltd. and invested by key employees. Its predecessor, Southwest Instrument Parts Factory, was a third tier enterprise relocated from Shanghai to Chongqing in 1966. With changes in territorial relations, it was renamed Sichuan Instrument 22nd Factory and Chongqing Chuanyi 22nd Factory. On April 22, 2004, it was restructured and reorganized as Chongqing Chuanyi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.

The company is located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain in Beibei District, Chongqing, on the banks of Jialing River. Its main production sites are distributed in Chengjiang Town and Xiema Science City, covering an area of more than 20000 square meters. The company has a nearly 60 year history of parts processing, with 380 employees, over 500 production equipment, more than 80 production auxiliary equipment, and over 110 testing equipment. The company is committed to the production of various precision mechanical parts (instrument components, optoelectronic product precision small parts, automotive parts, compass parts, precision die-casting parts, etc.) and the design, manufacturing, and sales of industrial automation instruments (temperature instruments, level instruments, engine instruments, and other series of products). Set up a mechanical processing production line around the automation manufacturing of high-end components for optical communication, Honeywell/Yokogawa instrument transmitter products, aluminum alloy die-casting manufacturing, and post-processing mechanical processing, and improve the industrial automation instrument production line.

With excellent processing technology and production capacity, the company has become a manufacturing center for instrument parts and components of China Silian Instrument Group Co., Ltd. and a key supporting base of Chongqing Chuanyi Co., Ltd. The "Precision Components for Optical Communication Adapter" produced by the company have been rated as "National Key New Products" by the former State Economic and Trade Commission and "High tech Products" by the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission. In 2004, the company was rated as a high-tech enterprise, and in 2022, it was rated as a "specialized, refined, unique and new" enterprise, and passed the QES system certification.
